No two camps are alike.

The woods are full of birds if you know where to look. Campers will head out with binoculars in hand to search the treetops, listen for calls, and follow the clues birds leave behind. We’ll learn to identify our feathered neighbors, discover their habitats, and see the woods from a bird’s-eye perspective.
What can you build with a pile of sticks, a few good friends, and a little imagination? Campers will gather branches, tie knots, and work together to build their own woodland hideaways. Along the way, they’ll learn about shelter, structure, teamwork, and the art of turning the forest into a place all their own.
A simple stick can become something entirely your own. Campers will learn the basics of whittling as they safely carve, shape, and smooth pieces of wood, discovering the satisfaction of making something by hand. Each camper will leave with a one-of-a-kind creation.
All season long, campers have helped tend the garden. This week they get to see the fruits of that work. Campers harvest, explore, and learn about what they've helped grow, and every child brings a little piece of the garden home with them.
The woods are full of clues if you know where to find them. Campers will follow tracks, trails, scat, feathers, and other signs of wildlife as they piece together the stories of the animals that call Linden Wood home. Along the way, they’ll learn how to read the landscape and discover who has been wandering through the woods before them.

A little something extra.

Every so often, we’ll mix things up with a special guest, a visit from someone in the community, or an invitation for families to join us on the trail. You never quite know what or who might show up at Linden Wood.

Linden Wood Summer Camp is open to children ages 3 to 6.
Start by requesting a tour. Every family begins with a visit to the property before enrolling.
Weather appropriate outdoor clothing, sturdy closed-toe shoes, a water bottle, a nut-free lunch, and a labeled bottle of sunscreen. We provide two organic snacks daily.
We go outside rain or shine. Please send your child dressed for the weather.
In the case of lightning, high winds, or other moderately dangerous conditions, we move activities indoors to the Lodge and will communicate with families directly. If conditions require a full closure, families will be notified by 7am. We monitor weather closely and always prioritize the safety of our campers.
We keep groups small with a maximum of 12 campers per week and a ratio of 1 educator per 6 children.
Each week has its own nature-based theme. A full schedule will be released before enrollment opens.
Every Friday families are invited to join us on the Discovery Trail for a guided hike through the property. A chance to see the land through your child's eyes.
Two organic snacks daily, all weekly programming, special guests and events, and the Friday family hike. Lunch is not included.
Yes. Spots are limited to 12 campers per week. Request a tour to get on the list.
Our closure and refund policy will be outlined in full in the enrollment packet. We will always communicate closures as early as possible so families can plan accordingly.
