A new theme every week.
-
The smallest creatures turn out to be the most fascinating. This week campers get up close with the insects, beetles, and critters that make our woodland tick. They'll peer under logs, investigate anthills, and discover that the tiniest things often have the biggest stories.
-
Every stick, stone, and fallen branch becomes a building block this week. Campers design and build with whatever the land provides, from towering forts to cozy hideaways tucked between the trees. No blueprints. No instructions. Just imagination and whatever the woods have to offer.
-
When the woods are your art supply, anything is possible. Campers print with leaves, paint with berries, weave with grasses, and sculpt with mud and clay. Every piece is one of a kind, just like the child who made it.
-
There's something magical about turning a simple stick into something beautiful. This week campers learn the art of whittling using child-safe tools and guided technique, carving and shaping their own creations from wood. It takes patience, focus, and a steady hand.
-
All season long, campers have helped tend the garden. This week they get to see the fruits of that work. Campers harvest, explore, and learn about what they've helped grow, and every child brings a little piece of the garden home with them on Friday.
-
Every trail tells a story if you know how to read it. This week campers learn to follow animal signs, identify footprints, and observe the clues that wildlife leaves behind. Part detective work, part adventure, Wild Trackers Week turns our 11 acres into one big mystery waiting to be solved.
A little something extra.
Every week at Linden Wood Summer Camp includes a special guest, event, or surprise — think ice cream trucks, bounce houses, and guest speakers, all covered in tuition.
Fridays are for families.
Every Friday, families join us on the trail their child explored all week. A chance to see it through their eyes and end the week together outside.
